Our family originates from the village of Spezzano della Sila located in the province of Cosenza, an Italian province, located in the region of Calabria.
For 7 generations the cuisine of southern Italy and local Italian products have been a family constant since in 1865 our ancestor, Augustino PINO, founded a trattoria in Cosenza, capital of the eponymous province, renowned for its specialties. local and traditional dishes.
This family trattoria quickly became a real popular success with the inhabitants of Cosenza and became a regional culinary reference in Calabria thanks to the quality of the products and dishes offered and the renowned traditional regional cuisine served on site.
It is to introduce as many people as possible to the culinary treasures of southern Italy that in 2013 we opened our restaurant in Lyon, capital of world cuisine, inspired by our real Calabrian family trattoria.
As our family trattoria has offered coffee roasted on site since its origin, we thought of doing the same by offering our customers the services of a real coffee-shop integrated into our restaurant.
Of course, the coffee is roasted on site and ground on demand to preserve its taste and respect its unique and bewitching aromas. In addition, it is served either through a professional and manual espresso coffee machine or by using the « Moka », the famous Italian coffee maker in the greatest Italian coffee tradition.
